Apple Pulls All Customer Reviews From Online Apple Store (appleinsider.com) 25
Apple has removed the "Ratings & Reviews" section from all product pages on its website. The changes were apparently made between November 16 and 17, and it's "currently unclear what has prompted this decision, nor when Apple will bring back the option to read the opinions of other customers at the time of purchase," reports AppleInsider. From the report: AppleInsider received a tip from a reader who had noted the buyer review section was missing on Apple's online retail store page. The user also pointed out that the pages have been removed from U.S., U.K., and Australian Apple online stores, which suggests this is not simply a mistake, but rather an intentional move on Apple's behalf. The reviews were pulled over the weekend, though it's not clear as to why this has happened. Apple had been known for leaving up even especially negative reviews, which demonstrated both transparency and integrity to their customers. By removing the reviews, it's possible that Apple will be seen as less credible to potential buyers.

Yes, because this has to do with reviews pulled from the Apple online retail store, NOT the Apple App store.

Apple produces shit keyboards. I have bought so many that have failed in less than a year it's fucking retarded.
The rate of failure for keyboards from my PC line are damn near indestructible.
IN 20 years I have only had 1 PC keyboard fail on me from Razor it was the Chroma. I have had at least 20 different keyboards for my PC systems. I obtain approximately 1 per year.
In the past 3 years I have purchased 4 different apple keyboards... all 4 have failed... I have one that is still working but with a paperc

No worries brah, I got them mixed up too for a half second, it's why I posted the clarification.
Reviews in app store missing would upset me more than missing from online apple store. I do my own legwork on product specs and reviews.

I never found the reviews on the apple store that helpful. Whenever I'd check the accessories (wireless chargers, skins/cases, etc) there were only a couple of reviews at best if at all and most were either "Apple's great!" or "product sux, caught fire and burned my house down bad apple design" (for a third party accessory at that!).
It felt to me like they were censoring the reviews regardless.
Possibly the main products like the iPhone or watch got better reviews but I never bothered reading the reviews at the store site for those but on apple forums or other external sources.

Hint: There is no relationship between a user and an actual person. One user can be a million people (e.g. via bugmenot.com), and one person can be a million users.
The latter is the industry norm. Nobody sane offers an app nowadays, and doesn't buy a nice amount of fake reviews. (There are many services for mass-solving of CAPTCHAs using 'poor country' people.)
And sorry, but the same thing is true on IMDB, Amazon, E-Bay, you name it.
If you don't personally know that that is a real person, assume it's a bot.
