An anonymous reader writes: Well this is certainly interesting. A report on late Wednesday night relayed that Apple recently purchased the iCloud.com domain from Xcerion for a cool $4.5 million. Indeed, iCloud.com now re-directs to CloudMe.com. With such a hefty price tag, Apple clearly must have serious plans for the cloud in the pipeline...
