He's one of the few people who paid for and registered my (music educational) shareware. Strangely enough he was one of the two main inspirations behind it too.... the other one being Eric Wenger. Whatta guy.

If I could be really honest with you, I am not really thrilled by the whole concept of the Woznet. I mean, Woz is and always was my hero, but of what practical use is that? Woz says, that you can monitor your dog... well, I don't have one and don't intend to. So, is Woznet anything more than just an electronic leash?

I just want to know if he is on OS X yet. Last I heard, not even Jaguar was polished enough for him to jump from OS 9

If that's the case, I bet 9.2.2 wasn't polished enough to make the jump from 8.6. 8.6 was the best of the classic OSs in my opinion. 7.x and 9.x were crashy as hell.

I saw an edition of Screensavers whilst visiting in Chicago a few months ago (I'm UK-based). It had Wozniak on it, and he was saying how much he liked his new 12" Powerbook.

The 12" Powerbook is OS X-based, so the answer to your question must be yes.

Wozniak said, noting that his home computer collection includes a number of desktop and notebook machines running various versions of Apple's operating system. One of those home machines is Apple's ill-fated Cube.

I've corresponded with Shawn Kind via email, and belive me he acts like a 12 year old kid when he isn't on the "radio." It's rather hilarious actually as he fancies himself a real journalist/host/whatever. Woz, get out of there!
