OH please... this "the specs are crap so it's overpriced" trope is really wearing thin.
The physical enclosures Apple machines are wrapped in are a million times higher quality than the crap peddled by HP/Dell etc etc. And don't even talk to me about the crappy black tower boxes from self-build efforts (and yes I have done a self build before) - regular crashes from crap quality enclosures is the norm.
If you want to do a self build with a decent quality case then there's likely to be far less price differen
