Submitted by wiredmikey
wiredmikey (1824622) writes "After arriving at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in late October, Lin Min Poo, a 32 year-old resident of Malaysia traveling to the US on a business trip was greeted by Secret Service Agents who arrested him and seized his laptop computer. According to documents from the department of Justice, Lin Min Poo had hacked into the Federal Reserve Bank of Clevland and stole over 400,000 stolen credit and debit card numbers.

Also, according to authorities, Mr. Poo managed to successfully hack into FedComp, a data processor for federal credit unions, enabling him to access the data of various federal credit unions, including the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York and the Mercer County New Jersey Teachers. He also hacked into computer system of a Department of Defense contractor that provides systems management for military transport and other military operations, potentially compromising highly sensitive military logistics information."
