+ - iRobot introduces morphing blob robot->

Submitted by Aristos Mazer
Aristos Mazer (181252) writes "iRobot has story and video showing their new robot, a morphing blob that looks like dough that moves by shifting its sides from solid-like to liquid-like states at will, allowing it to pass through cracks by squeezing rather than navigating. iRobot calls the new technique "jamming". Research project funded by DARPA."
